Sweet sassy molassy! I have over $60 in library fines! And to put in perspective how totally stupid this is, the library is 5 minutes from my house. D: So in an attempt to fix this, here is some commentary on manga I read about a month ago but have yet to discuss.



First off, I was recently spoiled for the fact that Yoruichi, the talking cat, is actually a human! And also she is apparently somewhat OTP with Urahara? And I am finding myself starting to ship them despite the fact that they've not even shared a scene yet? IDK I am just having this sense that they'll turn out to be the sort of ship I'd ship.

ANYWAY.

Well we start with Chad and Orihime trying to summon up their PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWERZ. And I love that when Orihime finally gets her hairpin to transform, she's like LOL HAY GUYZ and the hairpin people are like WTF HOW DARE YOU SUMMON US WHEN YOU'RE NOT IN DANGER and Orihime is like NUUUU STOP HITTING MEEEE. Orihime is so cute, I love her.

Let's see, I still adore Ururu, the shy little girl who kicks ass. And I am rapidly becoming a shameless Urahara fangirl. He is just so awesome, guys! With his hat and his fan and his general wackyness and his SEKRIT BADASSITUDE! <333

And then Ichigo talks to his sword-spirit-dude-person and almost turns into a Hollow but not quite and Urahara whips out his fan and is like FAAAABULOUS, YOU PASS! And Ichigo is like AND NOW I WILL KICK YOUR BUTT, NUMBSKULL but then it turns out that Urahara has a sword in his cane-thingy! And its name is BENIHIME THE RED PRINCESS ZOMG. And then Urahara disses Ichigo's sword LOLOL DOUBLE ENTENDRES LOLOL.

And then OMIGOSH HOLYSHIT Urahara is like *badass mode* I WILL KEEL YOOOU and Ichigo is like ...MOMMY! *hauls butt* And then the sword-spirit-dude is like "Helloooo I'm right here, you noob!" And then everything is like WHOOOOOM and then the dust clears and Ichigo is like *dramatic chord* I CAN HAS SWORD and it's all very DRAMATIC AND AWESOME. And then Ichigo is like I CAN'T CONTROL IT D: and he finally knocks off Urahara's hat by slicing it in half, and then we come to the BEST PART IN THE WHOLE VOLUME:

Urahara: You killed my hat! :(

XDDDDDDDDDDD IT'S THE FACE HE MAKES THAT GETS ME. OMG.

And then peeps are coming back from vacation and HOMG TATASUKI and then....

omg you guys

So I lied about the hat thing being the best part in the whole volume because I somehow forgot about TATSUKI AND ORIHIME'S MOMENT OF SUPREME OTPNESS ASLDFJDFJKAL;JFKLAJFKLAJFKLDA;JFLKAJFKLA;JFKDLAJFKL;AJFKLA;JKFLDA;SJFKLA;

WHEN THEY'RE LIKE "YOU GUYS GO ON AHEAD, WE NEED TO TAKE A MOMENT AND BE OTP TOGETHER," AND THEN TATSUKI TELLS ABOUT HOW IN DAYS OF YORE THEY WENT TO SEE THE DRAGONFLIES AND ORIHIME CHASED AFTER ONE AND GOT LOST AND TATSUKI SEARCHED FOR HER FOR TWO WHOLE DAYS AND T________T AND TATSUKI IS LIKE "YOU CHANGED YOUR BANGS" AND SHE GETS ALL SAD AND SHE'S LIKE "DON'T GO TOO FAR AWAY, K?" AND ORIHIME IS LIKE *SADFACE* BUT THEN SHE SMILES AND IS LIKE "BUT SOMEDAY WE WILL COME BACK HERE AND WATCH THE RED DRAGONFLIES TOGETHER!" AND TATSUKI CHEERS UP AND THEN THIS IS WHAT'S GOING ON INSIDE ORIHIME'S HEAD:

Thank you, Tatsuki. But don't worry... it's because you always look for me... that I feel safe no matter where I go. If I go somewhere where you can't find me... wait for me. I promise to come back here... to be with you.

AND THEN I DIED OF OTP. THE END.

And then other stuff happens that nobody cares about. :P



Ok first we have the requisite ASDF I LOVE THIS SERIES AND WANT TO HAVE ITS BABIES squee. Because that's becoming a necessity every time I post about FMA, lol. So... *deep breath* HOMGILOVETHISSERIESANDWANTTOHAVEITSBABIESOMG

And now for some random thoughts:

I love how emotional Gluttony has gotten over Lust's death. Nice to see one of the Homunculi actually giving a shit about his fellows.

And then Gluttony swallows everyone!!! Except Al, poor baby.

Just so I don't get too tl;dr, I looooved the whole plotline with Ed and Ling stuck in Gluttony's stomach and then they find Envy and see Envy's true form which is HOLYSHIT SO SCARY and Envy is like DON'T LOOK AT MEEEE and I got goosebumps! And they find out the truth about that one place with the unspellable name and Ed alchemybabbles about how they can get out and... yeah. Awesome storyline all around.

Ed: *finds Al's hand has been swallowed by Gluttony as well*
Ed: Nnnnngh! Power of telepathy conveniently awaken within me!

Hehehe.

Gluttony was so cute when he was sitting with a distraught Al in the forest, he's all "Oh shucks, I done a bad thing, I swallowed everybody." How can someone so evil be so strangely adorable?

Heh, I loved Mei and Scar teaming up. Talk about an odd couple!

Ed: *is alchemy-ing them out of Gluttony's stomach*
Ling: That pose he uses when he transmutes... I thought it reminded me of something. It almost looks like he's praying.

I GOT GOOSEBUMPS.

And then OMGHOLYSHIT Ed goes through the door and meets SKINNY NAKED LONG-HAIRED AL!!! AND MY BRAIN EXPLODED! And Al looks woobier than ever there. :( And then Al is like I CAN'T GO WITH YOU :( and Ed is like BUT I'LL COME BACK FOR YOOOOOU and Al is like :) and OH MY HEART. ;______;

Onnn to vol 14...

And then Lin turns into Greed which was craaaazy! But Ed shouts out Lan Fan's name and Lin/Greed is like OMG and so we know the real Lin is still in there!

And then Mei meets Ed and her fantasies of bishounen!Ed are SHATTERED! SHATTERED I TELL YOU! lolol omg so hilarious. (PS, I much prefer actual!Ed to bishounen!Ed. Just putting that out there.)

And then we have ED IN THE SHOWER! *diez and iz ded* Oh I am a sad pathetic fangirl, yes I am. XD Haha and then Ed bursts out of the shower and Al is like "Plz put some clothes on, because there's a little girl inside my armor" and Ed is like OMFG D:

And then Ed tries to give his watch back to Bradley! And it is made of win the way he does it, all "fuck y'all and this popsicle stand!" and zomg crush. But Bradley blackmails him by threatening Winry and Ed is like OH NO HE DI'INT and zomg otp.

And then there is random Roy/Riza cuteness yaaaay!

And then Ed calls Winry to see if she's okay and she's like UHHH YOU NEVER CALL ME, WTF CREEPY and Ed is like CAN'T YOU JUST APPRECIATE THE MOMENT INSTEAD OF POINTING OUT WHAT A TERRIBLE PSEUDO-BOYFRIEND I AM and then Winry is like "I love you I'm okay, really" and Ed is like "I love you too I'm glad." :)))

HAhaha and then Mei and Lan Fan get into a catfight at the doctor's house and Al is like "Uhhh" and they're like DON'T MAKE US BEAT YOU UP TOO and then the doctor comes and is all WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, YOU'RE BOTH INJURED, NOW STFU AND LIE DOWN and they're like *pout*

And Riza has some crazy tattoo on her back ZOMG DOOOOOM!
